Wet glue bottle labeling machine, also known as a glue labeler, is a specialized machine used to apply labels to bottles using wet glue adhesive. It is commonly used in industries such as food and beverage, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, and chemicals, where bottles are a primary packaging format. Here are some key features and working principles of a wet glue bottle labeling machine:
1. Bottle Handling: The machine is designed to handle bottles of different shapes, sizes, and materials, such as glass or plastic. It may include mechanisms like conveyors, grippers, or star wheels to transport and position the bottles during the labeling process.
2. Glue Application: The machine has a glue system that dispenses the wet glue adhesive onto the labels. The adhesive is typically applied in a specific pattern, such as stripes or dots, to ensure proper adhesion to the bottles.
3. Label Dispensing: Wet glue bottle labeling machines can dispense labels from rolls or stacks, depending on the specific design. The labels are typically made of paper or a similar material suitable for wet glue application.
4. Labeling Station: The labeling station in the machine is where the labels are applied to the bottles. It may include a rotating mechanism, a linear conveyor, or other positioning devices to ensure precise label placement on the bottles.
5. Label Orientation: The machine may incorporate mechanisms to ensure the correct orientation of the labels on the bottles. This is important for legibility and proper positioning of information on the labels, such as product names, logos, barcodes, or regulatory information.
6. Speed and Output: Wet glue bottle labeling machines can handle high-speed labeling operations to accommodate the production demands of various industries. The output depends on factors such as the machine’s design, bottle size, label complexity, and desired labeling speed.
7. Glue Drying and Inspection: After label application, the wet glue adhesive requires sufficient drying time to ensure proper adhesion. Some machines may include drying tunnels or mechanisms to expedite the drying process. Inspection systems can also be incorporated to check label accuracy, presence of barcodes, or label quality.
8. Integration and Control: Wet glue bottle labeling machines can be integrated into production lines, working in synchronization with other equipment such as filling machines, capping machines, or packaging machines. They can be controlled and monitored through centralized control systems for efficient production management.
Wet glue bottle labeling machines offer accurate and secure label application, ensuring product identification, branding, and compliance with labeling regulations. They provide a reliable solution for high-volume bottle labeling, contributing to efficient production processes and maintaining product quality.
